Dubai Chamber’s Accelerator Leads Launch of 32 Digital Applications

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has facilitated the development and market release of 32 new mobile applications through its Create Apps Accelerator Programme. This initiative, part of the broader Create Apps Championship ecosystem, aims to transition early-stage digital concepts into functional, commercial products.

Data from the chamber indicates that 60% of the applications launched through this year’s cohort incorporate artificial intelligence. The program functions as a 45-day technical sprint, providing participants with guidance on product development for iOS and Android platforms.

The 2026 iteration of the program supported founders from 22 countries across 13 industrial sectors. The curriculum included more than 170 hours of one-on-one mentorship and six specialized workshops focusing on user interface design, market positioning, regulatory compliance, and scaling strategies. This represents an increase in support capacity compared to the previous edition, which provided 140 hours of mentorship to 24 teams.

The launched applications cover a range of sectors, with the highest concentration in education, followed by healthcare and longevity. Fintech, social media, and real estate solutions were also represented.

Saeed AlGergawi, vice president of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, stated that the program is intended to provide a development pathway for entrepreneurs. The initiative targets participants who did not reach the final stages of the Create Apps Championship, offering them continued training to ensure project viability.
