Digital Dubai and Emirates Group Sign Accord to Integrate Digital Ecosystems
Digital Dubai and the Emirates Group signed a collaboration agreement on Thursday, integrating the international aviation group into the emirate’s centralized public digital services ecosystem and platforms.
The agreement allows the Emirates Group to utilize public digital enablement, data, and statistical services developed by the government entity. Officials stated the integration is intended to streamline internal data exchange, improve workplace operational efficiency, and expand the use of shared digital platforms across the organization.
The accord was signed by Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Amira Al Awadhi, Senior Vice President of Human Resources Operations and Systems at Emirates. The signing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, and Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai.
Under the established framework, the partnership will grant the aviation group access to high-performance service levels, unified information security standards, and public data systems.
"This agreement reflects Dubai's vision of building an integrated digital ecosystem founded on the strategic collaboration between the government and private sectors," Mr. Al Hemeiri said, noting that the infrastructure is designed to help the Emirates Group accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
The integration aims to consolidate municipal digital frameworks, establishing uniform operational protocols between major corporate entities and the public sector.
"The aim of our partnership extends well beyond convenience and efficiency," said Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President of Human Resources for the Emirates Group. "Dubai is building integrated digital foundations meant to improve how people live and how businesses operate."
